Carolyn A. Hart

May 3, 1973 — January 22, 2025

Carolyn A. Hart, 51, of Millmont, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She maintained her strong will, humor, and grace until the very end.

Born on May 3, 1973, in Lewisburg, the daughter of Lester Botts of Lewistown and Bonnie (Bingaman) Keister of Lewisburg. In August 2000, she married Trace Hart, who survives.

She was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School Class of 1992.

Carol was a shining light who touched the lives of many. For over 25 years, she was the heart of Boomerangs Bar and Grille. She could always be counted on to provide a warm smile, a laugh, a shoulder to cry on, and brutally honest advice. Her dedication to family, friends, and the community is unmatched. She was the life of the party and never turned down a beach vacation.

She was a radiant soul who left an enduring legacy of love. Family meant everything to her. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Trace Hart; four children: Matthew Dorman Jr. and companion Summer Brown, Tyler and Alyssa Dorman; Laura Dorman and companion Isaiah Dreese and Bailee Hart; stepson Chase Hart and companion Melisa Ermert; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Cory and Bobbi Botts and Barry Stahl; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Wes Stahl and Carla Stahl-Chapman and Allen Chapman.

Carol's eight grandchildren—Sydney, Luke, Andre, Waylon, Theo, Rhett, Willow, and Lakyn—were her ultimate pride and joy. She never missed an opportunity to show off their photos or share stories about them with anyone who would listen.

Carol will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and community. Her memory will live on through her grandkids and in those, she left a lasting impression on.

There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to the visitation from Noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren in Mifflinburg. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a time of sharing memories and a meal.

The interment will be held later in Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
