Carol L. Ward, 75, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence.
Born on August 19, 1944 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Kenneth M. Rupp and Grace I. (Hetrick) Rupp. On November 8, 1964, she married Karl Ward, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Selinsgrove High School class of 1963.
Carol worked as a aide at Riverwoods Nursing Home. Earlier in life she worked at the former Milton Shoe Factory.
She was a member of Church of Christ In Christian, Lewisburg.
Carol was a wonderful baker and always enjoyed baking for family and friends.
Surviving are six siblings and spouses, Kenneth M. Jr. and Wanda Rupp of Danville,
Sandra and Hiram Wida of Fishers, IN, Janice and Jim Walterick of Shamokin, Paul, Sr. and Sonya Rupp of Mifflinburg, Ronald and Deb Rupp of Shamokin Dam, Tim and Jackie Rupp of Northumberland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Church of Christ In Christian,199 Newman Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11, with, Pastor Harry Harter, officiating.
Interment will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol`s memory may be sent to the Church of Christ In Christian,199 Newman Road, Lewisburg.
