Carol Diane Keefer, 72, of West Milton entered into rest at 2:49 am on July 17, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on March 22, 1947 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Elwood F. and Mary H. (Kistler) Keefer.
She graduated from Mifflinburg High School Class of 1965.
Carol worked as a driver for USTA-Rabbit Transit for 14 years. Also, she operated the family dairy farm, worked at numerous local banks as a teller, and she owned her own painting business for 10 years.
Carol was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church, where she sang in the church choir. She was very spiritually strong and was considered the rock of the family. She was a great encourager to many people. She also served with Stonecroft Ministry for 3 years in Kansas City, MO as a traveling missionary.
She was a very social person always talking with people, loved nature and gardening, and collecting lighthouses.
Being that she grew up on the family dairy farm she was always involved in the operation and, her and her brother, Wayne would show cattle at the Union County West End fair.
Surviving is one sister-in-law, Susan K. Keefer of Lewisburg, two nephews, Duane S. Keefer and wife Nancy of Mifflinburg, Benjamin E. Keefer and fiancée Jessica of Mifflinburg, two nieces, Heidi J. Mohney and husband Jim of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Becky Sue Keefer of Lewisburg, 8 great nieces and nephews, Braden, Isaiah, Zeyden, Cody, Joshua, Curtis, Jessica, and Madelynn.
She was preceded in death by one brother, E. Wayne Keefer.
Family and friends are invited to Carol's life celebration service at 2 pm on Sunday, July, 21, 2019 at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 205 Bull Run Crossing, Lewisburg, with Rev. Jeffrey Yount, officiating.
Interment will be private in the Mazeppa Cemetery.
