Betty Sarah Stahley

Betty Sarah Stahley, 83, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 5:40 PM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born on September 16, 1934 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Roy Hinish and Bessie Dorothy (Harmon) Betzer.  On July 26, 1952, in Lewisburg she married Robert Clinton Stahley Sr, who survives.

She was a graduate of Lewisburg High School Class of 1952.

Betty worked as a customer service representative at M&T Bank and West Milton State Bank.  Earlier in life she worked for the Mifflinburg Borough for over 10 years.

She was attending Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.

Betty enjoyed golfing and was member of the Shade Mountain Golf Course.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert C. Stahley, Jr and wife Terry of Lewisburg, Thomas W. Stahley and wife Alicia of Chowchilla, CA, Andrew E. Stahley and wife Ginny of Morgantown, WV, two daughters and two sons-in-law, Tracey Mensch and husband Michael of Mifflinburg, Julie Dorman and husband Michael of Milton, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Hinish of Northumberland.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Hinish, Ollie Hinish, and one sister, Gladys Bowersox.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg and on Friday from 12 to 1 PM on Friday at the Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Rd, Milton, PA 17847, where the funeral will be held at 1 PM, with the Rev. Ken Paulhamus, and Pastor Ryan Brosious, officiating.

Interment will be in the New Berlin Cemetery.
