Barbara Ann Turrell, 71, of 2856 Smoketown Road, Lewisburg passed away at 5:40 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on May 13, 1944 in Reno, NV, the daughter of the late Glenn Lyle and Harriet Virginia (Copenhaver) Littell. On March 26, 2005, in Lewisburg she married J. Joel Turrell, who survives.
She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, OH and East Liverpool City Hospital School of Nursing.
Barbara’s worked as a registered nurse for Evangelical Community Hospital.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lewisburg.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading and knitting. Most importantly she was a loving and devoted mother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Kurt Heidel and fiancee, Erin Sullivan of McEwensville, Eric Heidel and his wife, Sary Em of Philadelphia, one grandson, Wade Heidel, and one sister, Glenda Moeller of Madison, AL.
Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
