Aden Z. Weaver

Aden Z. Weaver, 80, of Lewisburg entered into rest on Friday, August 23, 2024 at his residence.

Born on June 28, 1944 in Terre Hill, a son of the late Titus and Lydia (Zimmerman) Weaver. On December 16, 1971, he married the former Irene H. Burkholder, who survives.

Aden retired from dairy farming.

He was a member of the Vicksburg Old Order Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Irene, are 5 children Norma (Ernest) Martin of Shiloh, OH, John (Darcy) Weaver of Mifflinburg, Raymond ( Verna) Weaver of Lewisburg, Marvin (Katherine) Weaver of Mifflinburg, Alta (Norman) Reiff of Lewisburg, 33 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings John (Barbara) Weaver, Emma (Amos) Nolt, Margaret (Joseph) Hoover, Esther (Aaron) Martin, Titus (Martha) Weaver, Ellen (Norman) Zimmerman and a sister-in-law, Vera Weaver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Weaver and a great grandson, Joash Hoover.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Alta and Norman Reiff, 4140 Old Turnpike Road, Lewisburg, where the family service will be held on Wednesday at 9 am with further services beginning at 9:30 am at Vicksburg Old Order Mennonite Church with the home ministry officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining Church Cemetery.
